Annual Secretaries Day Out -10th October 2007

NIRSC members enjoyed a trip experiencing some of Boston’s most popular shopping centres and outlet malls.

Following a ‘Setting the Scene’ seminar given by two of Boston’s most influential business leaders, delegates visited:-

• Copley Place which hosts over 100 designer stores including Tiffany & Co., Jimmy Choo, Hugo Boss, Christian Dior and Gucci.

• The Prudential Centre which as well as being a retail destination in its own right provided easy access to the Centre’s Office Towers, shops and restaurants, Skywalk Observatory providing fabulous views of the city and The Boston Duck Tours.

• Cambridgeside Galleria which offers great shopping with over 120 specialist boutiques, kiosks and restaurants as well as top retailers such as Macy’s, Sears, Best Buy and much more.

• Wrentham Premium Outlet Center was very much one of the highlights of the tour with its 170+ top names such as Burberry, Coach, Gap Outlet, Salvatore Ferragamo, Sony, Timberland

• Fanueil Hall which is over 250 years old – a marketplace which has played an integral role in the life of Boston Residents.

• Burlington Mall – an upscale centre anchored by Lord & Taylor, Macy’s and Sear. It featured over 150 speciality shops, a 775 seat food court and a fabulous Rainforest Café!

• Atrium Mall – a small but fashionable high-end centre located on the outskirts of Boston. Atrium mall is designed for the ultimate shopper and offers four exciting levels featuring more than 35 specialist shops and 3 unique restaurants.

All this and we still found time to network, socialize and bond!
