Dear all

Unfortunately due to a variety of factors and circumstances beyond the Association’s control, the much anticipated study tour to Berlin in May has been indefinitely postponed.

At this point I would like to thank on behalf of the Association the sponsors who were committed to supporting the tour; Mercury Security, First Christmas (in particular Sharon) and Clearhill – the private and corporate members who had confirmed their bookings and finally, to the NIRSC study tour committee who had given up so much of their time to plan and coordinate this event.

The NIRSC is determined to deliver exiting, informative, professional events and experiences and with your help; we can create an environment which is both appropriate and challenging.

It is disappointing to lose such a special event as the NIRSC study tour; however, it presents an opportunity to explore a myriad of areas of interest from both an educational and social viewpoint. Your committee is already discussing these issues and planning a way forward.

Although everyone is understandably disappointed by this turn of events, what’s done is done. It’s time to move on.
