19th November 2008 - Service Charge from the Retailer’s Perspective

  


53 members attended the second of the Autumn Seminar Series at Stranmillis.

With nearly 20 years experience in property management, John Gray now heads the Service Charge Department at SGP Property Services, acting as Service Charge consultant to retailers such as Marks & Spencer having previously having worked for British Land and been Service Charge Manger at Next and TK Maxx.

A former chair of the PMA, John has been a member of various BCSC committees including the working party that produced the RICS Code of Practice – Service Charges in Commercial Property.

With a pragmatic and clear approach to service charge management, John’s insights into Service Charge from the retailer’s perspective were not only extremely interesting but should also have provided plenty of practical assistance to the Centre Managers and Managing Agents present.
